I've spent over 15 years teaching the nuances of pitching and hitting mechanics, shaped by a journey filled with personal challenges and professional growth.
My journey into biomechanics began early when at just 9 years old, a fractured growth plate due to poor mechanics and a strong arm sidelined my athletic career. This injury, compounded by a bone spur pressing into my ulnar nerve, underscored the importance of mastering proper technique in sports.
Driven by my setbacks, I delved deep into studying biomechanics and sought out a Muscle Activation Technique specialist. This experience not only opened up crucial ranges of motion in my body but also equipped me with specialized techniques to unlock maximum mobility for velocity and bat speed. I firmly believe that achieving at least 180 degrees of range of motion—from external to internal rotation—is essential for safely throwing 90+ miles per hour without compromising the shoulder or elbow.
Today, I am recognized as an authority in sports mechanics, known for empowering athletes of all levels with the knowledge to optimize performance while reducing the risk of injury. My approach combines technical precision with a deep understanding of human movement, offering athletes a transformative path to excellence in their sport.

MECHANICS
Hitting and pitching mechanics start from the ground up, with power generated by the back leg and hip mainly using the glutes to transfer energy through the front leg into the core, then to the hands. Think of it like stretching a rubber band—upper and lower body act like the band's parts, releasing from a stretched position to maximize bat or arm speed.
I focus on tactile drills because feel is essential; flawless mechanics alone aren't enough. Once muscle memory is ingrained, the goal on game day is a clear, subconscious mindset where instinct guides performance. Adaptability is key to excelling as a hitter and pitcher, and tactile training is crucial here.
